Whilst a solar flare from out Sun, aimed directly at us, could cause secondary problems such as satellite damage and injury to unprotected astronauts and blackouts, the flare itself is not powerful enough to destroy Earth, certainly not in 2012. the far future when the Sun begins to run out of fuel and swell our magnetosphere, ionosphere and thick atmosphere below.
"Killer" solar flares have been observed on other stars. In 2006, NASA's Swift observatory saw the largest stellar flare ever observed 135 light-years away. an energy of 50 million trillion atomic bombs, the II Pegasi flare will have wiped out most life on Earth if our Sun fired X-rays from a flare of that energy at us. However, our Sun is not II Pegasi. II Pegasi is a violent red giant star with a binary partner in a very close orbit. Gravitational interaction with its binary partner and the fact II Pegasi is a red giant is the root cause behind this energetic flare event.
Doomsayers point to the Sun as a possible Earth-killer source, evidence that our Sun contributed to any mass extinction event in the past via a huge Earth-directed flare. Very large solar flares have been observed (such as the 1859 Carrington white light flare)… but we are still here.In an added twist, solar physicists are surprised by the lack of solar activity at the start of this 24th solar cycle, verge of another Maunder minimum and "Little Ice Age". in stark contrast to NASA solar physicist's 2006 prediction that this cycle will be a "doozy".when predicting solar flare events. Although space weather can read the Sun accurately enough to say with any certainty just how active a solar cycle is going to be. prophecy, prediction or myth, there is no physical way to say that the Earth will be hit by any flare, let alone a big one in extinction event. The Sun will be approaching the peak of its 11-year cycle, called "solar maximum", so we can expect a lot of solar activity. Some predictions put the solar maximum of Solar Cycle 24 even more energetic than the last solar maximum in 2002-2003 (remember all those record breaking X-class flares?). Solar physicists are already getting excited about this next cycle and new prediction methods are being put to good use. Like most of the various ways the world is going to end in 2012, the possibility of the Sun blasting out a huge, Earth-damaging solar flare is very attractive to the doomsayers out there. But let's have a look at what really happens during an Earth-directed solar flare event, the Earth is actually very well protected. Although some satellites may not be…The Earth has evolved in a highly radioactive environment. The Sun constantly fires high-energy particles from its magnetically dominated surface as the solar wind. During solar maximum (when the Sun is at its most active), the Earth may be unlucky enough to be staring down the barrel of an explosion with the energy of 100 billion Hiroshima-sized atomic bombs.
This explosion is known as a solar flare and the effects of which can cause problems here on Earth.Before we look at the Earth-side effects, let's have a look at the Sun and briefly understand why it gets so angry every 11 years or so.

The Solar Cycle

First and foremost, the Sun has a natural cycle with a period of approximately 11 years. During the lifetime of each cycle, the magnetic field lines of the Sun are dragged around the solar body by differential rotation at the solar equator. This means that the equator is spinning faster than the magnetic poles. As this continues, solar plasma drags the magnetic field lines around the Sun, causing stress and a build up of energy (an illustration of this is pictured). As magnetic energy
increases, kinks in the magnetic flux form, forcing them to the surface. These kinks are known as coronal loops which become more numerous during periods of high solar activity. As coronal loops continue to pop up over the surface, sunspots appear too, often located at the loop footpoints. Coronal loops have the effect of pushing the hotter surface layers of the Sun (the photosphere and chromosphere) aside, exposing the cooler convection zone (the reasons why the solar surface and atmosphere is hotter than the solar interior is down to the coronal heating phenomenon). As magnetic energy builds up, we can expect more and more magnetic flux to be forced together. This is when a phenomenon known as magnetic reconnection occurs.
Reconnection is the trigger for solar flares of various sizes. As previously reported, solar flares from "nanoflares" to "X-class flares" are very energetic events. Granted, the largest flares my generate enough energy for 100 billion atomic explosions, but don't let this huge figure concern you. For a start, this flare occurs in the low corona, right near the solar surface. That's nearly 100 million miles away (1AU). The Earth is nowhere close to the blast.
As the solar magnetic field lines release a huge amount of energy, solar plasma is accelerated and confined within the magnetic environment (solar plasma is superheated particles like protons, electrons and some light elements such as helium nuclei). As the plasma particles interact, X-rays may be generated if the conditions are right and bremsstrahlung is possible. (Bremsstrahlung occurs when charged particles interact, resulting in X-ray emission.) This may create an X-ray flare.

The Problem with X-ray Solar Flares
The biggest problem with an X-ray flare is that we get little warning when it is going to happen as X-rays travel at the speed of light (one of the record breaking 2003 solar flares is pictured left). X-rays from an X-class flare will reach the Earth in around eight minutes. As X-rays hit our atmosphere, they are absorbed in the outermost layer called the ionosphere. As you can guess from the name, this is a highly charged, reactive environment, full of ions (atomic nuclei, and free electrons).
During powerful solar events such as flares, rates of ionization between X-rays and atmospheric gases increase in the D and E region layers of the ionosphere. Interestingly, the increase in electron density during a SID boosts the propagation of Very Low Frequency (VLF) radio, a phenomenon scientists use to measure the intensity of X-rays coming from the Sun.
Coronal Mass Ejections?
X-ray solar flare emissions are only part of the story. If the conditions are right, a coronal mass ejection (CME) might be produced at the site of the flare (although either phenomenoncan occur independently). CMEs are slower than the propagation of X-rays, but their global effects here on Earth can be more problematic. They may not travel at the speed of light, but We have a handful of spacecraft sitting between the Earth and the Sun at the Earth-Sun Lagrangian (L1) point with sensors on board to measure the energy and intensity of the solar wind. Should a CME pass through their location, energetic particles and the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) can be measured directly. ACE teams up with the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) and the Solar TErrestrial RElations Observatory (STEREO), so CMEs can be tracked from the lower corona into interplanetary space, through the L1 point toward Earth. These solar missions are actively working together to provide space agencies with advanced notice of an Earth-directed CME.
So what if a CME reaches Earth? For a start, much depends on the magnetic configuration of the IMF (from the Sun) and the geomagnetic field of the Earth (the magnetosphere). Generally speaking, if both magnetic fields are aligned with polarities pointing in the same direction, it is highly probable that the CME will be repelled by the magnetosphere. In this case, the CME will slide past the Earth, causing some pressure and distortion on the magnetosphere, but otherwise passing without a problem. However, if the magnetic field lines are in an anti-parallel configuration (i.e. magnetic polarities in opposite directions), magnetic reconnection may occur at the leading edge of the magnetosphere.
In this event, the IMF and magnetosphere will merge, connecting the Earth's magnetic field with the Sun's. Satellites in Peril
As the CME magnetic field connects with the Earth's, high energy particles are injected into the magnetosphere. Due to solar wind pressure, the Sun's magnetic field lines will fold around the Earth, sweeping behind our planet. The particles injected in the "dayside" will be funnelled into the polar regions of the Earth where they interact with our atmosphere, generating light as aurorae. During this time, the Van Allen belt will also become "super-charged", creating a region around the Earth that could cause problems to unprotected astronauts and any unshielded satellites. As if the radiation from the Van Allen belt wasn't enough, atmosphere. As you'd expect, as if the Sun hits the Earth with X-rays and CMEs, there will be inevitable heating and global expansion of the atmosphere, possibly encroaching into satellite orbital altitudes. If left unchecked, an aerobraking effect on satellites could cause them to slow and drop in altitude. effect on satellites orbiting Earth as any slowing of velocity could cause it to re-enter the atmosphere.
Although satellites are on the front line, if there is a powerful surge in energetic particles entering the atmosphere, we may feel the adverse effects down here on Earth too. the X-ray generation of electrons in the ionosphere, some forms high-latitude regions, a vast electric current, known as an particles. With an electric current comes a magnetic field.
Depending on the intensity of the solar storm, currents may be induced down here on the ground, possibly overloading national power grids. On March 13th 1989, six million people lost power in the Quebec region of Canada after a huge increase in solar activity caused a surge from ground-induced currents.

Are you aware that a Shift in human consciousness is occurring even as you read these words that employs celestial triggers such as supernovas and Earth's alignment with Galactic Center in the years leading up to 2012 apocalypse to trigger the evolution of our species? This Shift has been documented in a stimulating multimedia presentation entitled “Preparing for the Shift,” by Barry and Janae Weinhold, Ph.D.s. Over decades devoted to the study of consciousness and evolution, the Weinholds, both trained psychologists, have gathered overwhelming evidence that humanity is in the middle of a long-awaited Shift in consciousness predicted in hundreds of indigenous cultures worldwide.
It is also evident in the ecological breakdown of numerous Earth systems, a widespread perception time is accelerating, drastic changes in weather patterns, more people feeling overwhelmed by modern life's complexity, and increased polarization between groups, religions, and regions.

The significance of the winter solstice on December 21, 2012 apocalypse, the expected apocalypse according to the Mayan, Aztec, Incan and Hopi traditions, is that this date marks the close of several cycles of time. Mayan timekeepers believe that human evolution unfolds as a result of such precisely calibrated master cycles of time. They predict that Earth and humanity are about to be birthed into a new reality based on unity predicated on a dramatic advance in consciousness.

In human terms, becoming “individuated” means moving from being unconsciously united with the Creator or Ground of Being, to choosing to become divided from the Creator and developing separate individual consciousness, to finally returning to the Creator as conscious, aware individuals. Once people fully individuate, it becomes possible for them to make empowered, discerning choices and use intention to co-create reality with Source–or perhaps more accurately, to create reality as Source.

The second cycle of time ending in 2012 apocalypse highlighted in “Preparing for the Shift” is the close of the Galactic Year. From a galactic perspective, the Weinholds ask, “What was conceived on Earth 225 million years ago?”

This process of planetary individuation not only correlates with continental drift theory; my research indicates there is also an energetic correspondence between Earth's twelve tectonic plates responsible for continental drift and the twelve pairs of cranial nerves in the human brain, which are themselves linked to the biblical Twelve Tribes. Considered together, this evidence suggests that Earth, like humans, has undergone her own “separating out” or individuation. Based on such interconnectedness, it is also reasonable to expect that as human consciousness exponentially increases, Earth will also undergo a significant–and observable–transformation.

Astronomers studying Galactic Center report that it periodically becomes extremely active. During these episodes, it spews out fierce barrages of cosmic energy equal to thousands of supernova explosions. A growing number of researchers such as Sergey Smelyakov, author of a fascinating paper entitled “The Auric Time Scale and the Mayan Factor,” in addition to many indigenous peoples worldwide, theorize that as Galactic Center becomes more energized, it catalyzes human evolution through frequency emissions in the form of higher-dimensional “torsion” waves transmitted to Earth via the sun.

A comprehensive scientific model for the “Energetic Engine of Evolution” has been proposed by David Wilcock, a highly gifted psychic and speculative scientist whose theory of “Evolution as 'Intelligent Design'” deserves summarizing. Citing the work of a vanguard of researchers, Wilcock presents a model that unites many disciplines and provides several critical missing pieces to the evolutionary puzzle. Basing his analysis on the realization, embraced by more and more of today's scientists, that Darwinian evolutionary theory is “extinct,” Wilcock observes that the “probabilities that DNA could evolve by 'random mutation' are so minute as to be utterly laughable–akin to the idea that if you have enough monkeys tapping away on typewriters, one of them will eventually produce a complete Shakespearean play.” Far surpassing the reach of gradual, incremental evolution, which certainly occurs as environmental adaptation, the fossil record from all over the planet makes it abundantly clear that species regularly evolve in heretofore inexplicable leaps and bounds, skipping what would seem from a Darwinian perspective to be crucial evolutionary phases. At the top of a long list of species whose evolution has baffled science is the human species.

“When we consider that the size of the brain literally doubled between that of humanity's apparent ancestors and ourselves, with no evidence of a smooth transformation whatsoever,” writes Wilcock, “once again we see a spontaneous evolution of the creatures on Earth.” One scientist associated with National Geographic, studying the intricate bone carvings dating to 70,000 B.C.E. found at Blombos Cave in South Africa, concluded that behavioral evolution mirrors anatomical development–an important observation meaning, in Wilcock’s words, that “spontaneous evolution is not simply physiological, but consciousness-related as well. When a new bodily form has emerged, consciousness changes appear to occur.”

Moreover, as indicated by the Mayan calendar, rather than in fits and starts, such evolutionary fast-forwards of physiology and consciousness happen in organized, predictable cycles. Theorizing a “harmonic relationship” between the 26,000-year Mayan calendar and 26-million-year period between extinctions/evolutionary leaps in the fossil record, Wilcock notes that all Earth species have suddenly evolved, or metamorphosed, every 26 million years, making a strong case for “an outside energetic influence that operates in a regular, cyclic fashion.”

To answer the question what outside energetic influence is responsible for these rhythmic evolutionary revolutions, it is necessary to factor in the concept of torsion energy or universal creative consciousness. Some writers, most notably Barbara Hand Clow, have focused attention on something called the Photon Belt or Photon Band, which can be envisioned as a torsion-wave “light lattice” connecting Earth via our sun to Galactic Center that serves as a guiding data communication network for human and planetary evolution.

Wilcock's research indicates that something very much like a Photon Band most definitely exists as lines of higher-dimensional torsion radiation emanating from Galactic Center. Both Wilcock and Clow envision the Photon Band as tracing figure-eights throughout the spiraling pattern of the Milky Way Galaxy (see figure below). It appears from Dr. Nikolai Kozyrev's research involving aether that such looping “zero point” or torsion energy based on the phi ratio (1.6180339) is, among other things, directly responsible for our cyclical experience of time.

From Book One on the Regenetics Method, Conscious Healing: The Photon Band & Black Road. It takes 225 million Earth years for the Milky Way Galaxy to make one complete rotation through the Photon Band, which is believed to be a birth cycle for our galaxy. Recalling the aether theories of Kozyrev, fellow Russian scientist Sergey Smelyakov's research demonstrates that the harmonic vibrations of phi, also referred to as the Golden Mean and Fibonacci sequence, inform the very fabric of space-time. Mathematically, the Photon Band appears to be structured on phi, producing set cosmic intervals the Mayans were aware of when constructing their uncannily accurate calendar. Smelyakov's “The Auric Time Scale and the Mayan Factor” compellingly suggests that Earth connects to Galactic Center via our solar system in a harmonic fashion he calls “Solar-planetary Synchronism,” a vibratory relationship based on the Golden Mean.

In an article entitled “The Ultimate Secret of the Mayan Calendar,” Wilcock cites Smelyakov's research, writing that it helps explain the end of the Mayan calendar in geometric terms as an “infinitely-converging end point” in which time appears to “collapse.” 2012 Apocalypse

Torsion energy spiraling as the Photon Band from the creative consciousness at the Core of our universe is Wilcock's “Energetic Engine of Evolution.” Because of its curvilinear form, the Photon Band is composed of swaths of lesser and greater density of torsion waves manifesting as higher-dimensional light. As our solar system orbits episodically into galactic regions characterized by greater density of torsion waves (i.e., greater light or consciousness), which it is currently doing, life on our planet, including the living organism that is Earth, is intelligently stimulated to evolve in spectacular ways not only physically but also mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

“By combining the effects of geo-cosmic change with the overall flourishing of humanity in the cultural and spiritual sense,” observes Wilcock, “we see that as the cycle continues to exponentially accelerate its energetic rate of vibration into the 2012-2013 'singularity,' we can expect … rapid increases in human awareness.” This centripetal cycle leads inexorably to a “discontinuous mega-event where 'time and space collapse.'” In humans, evolutionary activation occurs as torsion waves stimulate transposons or “jumping DNA” to rewrite the genetic code–a phenomenon supported by a considerable amount of scientific evidence. Bruce Lipton's research unambiguously affirms that cells possess the ability to reprogram their own DNA, with measurable physical results such as otherwise inexplicable dietary modifications in organisms, when environmentally prompted. Similarly, in a concise but excellent study entitled “Retrotransposons as Engines of Human Bodily Transformation,” biochemist Colm Kelleher addresses the subject of radical genetic adaptation or evolution as a result of what he terms a “transposition burst.” A transposition burst is a plausible mechanism at the DNA/RNA level that could accomplish such a genome wide change. Transposition bursts comprise the concerted movement of multiple mobile DNA elements from different genetic locations to new positions, sometimes on different chromosomes … Human DNA contains an abundance of the necessary genetic structures to accomplish a transposition burst involving hundreds, or even thousands, of genes.

Referencing a particular DNA sequence containing three different transposon families arranged in beadlike formation, Kelleher theorizes that owing to its tripartite configuration, this DNA sequence would be “an effective participant in large scale transposon mediated genetic change that eventually results in transformation of the human body.”

Perhaps the most undeniable evidence supporting the concept of a torsion life-wave or Photon Band of universal creative consciousness energetically directing the spontaneous formation and development of Earth species comes from Tim Harwood, who calls attention to one of nature's more miraculous phenomena. This soup contains no recognizable cells or DNA as it is currently understood, but when the time is right, the torsion life-wave signals the DNA to recombine and, within a matter of days, cells emerge to create new life-forms.

Wilcock concludes that the human species, somewhat like caterpillars entering metamorphosis, is currently “being programmed by the galactic center to become more advanced while … still here in our bodies.” It is therefore possible that as we move into increasingly “intelligent” zones of energy in the galaxy, the DNA energy patterns for the creatures on the planet are all upgraded, and the mutations occur so rapidly–well within one lifetime–that no “transitional” fossils exist.

Earth's movement through a denser area of the Photon Band directly aligned with Galactic Center began around the time of the so-called Harmonic Convergence in 1987, will enter into a historical astronomical alignment around 2012 apocalypse , and will be complete (from our present linear perspective) by about 2016. Over the course of the past two decades, as Wilcock and the Weinholds point out, major Earth, planetary and solar changes–from unprecedented alterations in planetary atmospheres to drastic surges in volcanic and earthquake activity–have been observed. Arguably of greatest significance from our perspective is that the sun is now moving into alignment with Galactic Center. Other researchers, observing that most of DNA's amino acids are also found in space, have hypothesized that DNA actually came from space–an increasingly popular theory known as “Panspermia.”

Fascinatingly, Fritz Albert Popp's research in biophotons describes the dying process of cells as virtually identical to that of stars. Just before dying, cells transform into “supernovas” as the light they emit increases in intensity a thousand times before being suddenly extinguished. On a related note, and just as extraordinarily, Galactic Center, our point of origin, is located in the constellation Ophiuchus, “the serpent bearer,” an obvious reference to the spiraling, serpentine helixes of DNA. Here, in ancient symbolism, we find a direct link between the creational torsion waves emitted by Galactic Center and the DNA molecule to which, by all indications, they give rise.

The Vedics were well aware of such an “ener-genetic” connection between Galactic Center and DNA as well as of the many cycles of time ending around 2012 apocalypse, employing the term somvarta to describe the intelligent waves of Core energy responsible for the spontaneous evolution of species. The DNA molecule is minutely structured on phi or the Golden Mean, measuring 34 x 21 angstroms for each full helical spiral. Shift in human consciousness as the excess of the 2012 apocalypse...

2012 Galactic Alignment

2012 Apocalypse Caused by Galactic Alignment ?

One of the key pieces of information discussed with reference to the 2012 apocalypse subject (2012ology) is a long anticipated alignment with the galactic centre, that is, with the very core of the Milky Way galactic star system. For the sake of casual readers and those new to the topic let me regale you with my recent astronomical re-education brought about largely by studying an excellent (and expensive) astronomy and cosmology book called simply, ‘Astronomica’.
The basis of the 2012 alignment as discussed comes from a synergy of several astronomical phenomena and events. To start with we recall that Earth circles the star called Sol (hence ‘Solar’ system), Sol is a star out on the so called ‘Local’ or ‘Orion’ arm of a Spiral type Galaxy named The Milky Way. For sake of general interest lets include also the dimensions of our Galaxy, it is around 100,000 light years in diameter (excluding the atomic hydrogen gas and dark matter) and includes some 100 billion stars.

Thanks initially to viewing other galaxies of the same type it became clear that spiral arm galaxies had at their centre a bulge. Looking up into our night sky in the right location at the right time confirms that we to have such a bulge, and that we are indeed looking edge on at a galactic disk. Comparative studies show that this bulge is indeed the centre of a spiral galaxy, and has itself a number of unique phenomena associated to it that should be explained here for a better understanding of our cosmic position.

Turning our eyes, and indeed advanced radio telescopes, inward toward the core we see there is a band of darkness strung along the central galactic plane, this is known as the Great Rift, and these dust clouds will later cause us some problems in our observations. Zooming in further we see the Spherical Halo that makes up our earlier witnessed bulge, it incorporates several globular clusters of stars as well as the major star birthing clouds of the Milky Way, these form a kind of shell about the true central core (interestingly unlike the rest of the stars in the galaxy which all orbit in the same direction, the stars here move in various directions). This image was created by Prof. Andrea Ghez and her research team at UCLA and are from data sets obtained with the W. M. Keck Telescopes. Finally we come to the core itself, long obscured from even the mightiest telescoped due to those dense clouds around it. Thanks though to advanced infrared detection we have discovered that the core is slightly peanut shaped, with a central bar of extremely ancient stars acting like a central column about which all else turns, residing within ionised molecular gas, a structure known as the 3-5 kilo parsec ring. The observed velocity of this star cluster has lead to the understanding that they are being interacted upon by a black hole with the mass of four million stars! 2012 apocalypse
Black holes are one of the most fascinating phenomena in the known Universe. For those not familiar with Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity, it states that when huge mass is compressed into small space the normal dimensions of space become warped. At that point nothing can escape, not even light, with no light we of course have no visibility of the object. This results in a so called black hole, a type of quantum singularity into which everything about it is drawn by incredibly intense gravitational forces. A star significantly larger than our own can in its final stages become a black hole with intense gravitational pull, therefore the forces involved in a black hole of four million solar mass is rather mind boggling. The black hole can be thought of rather like the plug hole about which water spins as it exit’s a bathtub. Fortunately we are not being rapidly pulled into our own plug hole, the distances involved seem to allow relative balance for the surrounding stars.

Some interpreters believe this to be a transition time where consciousness will evolve while others interpret Bakt'un 13 to be the end of physical existence. December 21, 2012 the expected 2012 apocalypse, like any other December 21 is the day of the winter solstice. Astronomers have calculated the peak time of this one to be 11:11 which adds much fuel to the interpreters of prophecy.
There is no denying that 2012 apocalypse and the years surrounding 2012 are bringing the Earth and Sun in a direct alignment with the core of the Milky Way galaxy and there is no denying that this is an event that occurs only once every 26000 years.
This event involves an alignment of Earth, Venus, and the Sun and occurs twice in 8 years but once the paired event passes it doesn't reoccur for a few centuries. One of the main themes for 2012 apocalypse prophecy i found is the end date of the Mayan Calendar or Bakt'un 13. Most scholars set the start date at 3113 BC and the end date at 2012.
The number 26000 is a recurring theme also. The Fifth World prophecy of the meso american Aztecs is about five eras that end in mass destruction and rebirth. Each era lasts 5125 years. The precession of the equinox is an association between the north pole and zodiac constellations that lasts 26000.
There is the Hopi Kachina Blue Star prophecy that may involve the 26000 year galactic alignment cycle or some comets.
There is the Sumarian Nibiru or planet X prophecy that states that a dual sun makes an appearance inside the orbits of the common planets every 3600 hundred years or so.
There is the Seven Fire Prophecy of the Anishinabe which predicts a return to the harmonic ways of the past.
There are the Bible prophecies of revelation that predict the rise of an antichrist who tricks mankind into believing that he is the one sent to save them from themselves and leads them into utter despair and of a physical/metaphysical war that presents itself through the decoding of sealed prophecies. Strangely enough this evil trickster is represented as Lord Tzecatlipoca in the Fifth Sun Prophecy as the sorcerer with the Smoking Mirrors.
